7 Steps to Having a Warrior Mindset
There are countless definitions of what “Warrior Mindset”
is, as the concept can mean something completely different to people based on
their experienced or background. Generally speaking, however the term is often
associated with the mindset of those who place themselves in harm’s way by
choice (military personnel, police officers, civilian sheepdogs). With that
being said, you don’t have to be a ninja, cop, Army Ranger or Navy Seal to
developed a ‘’Warrior Mindset’’ because it has been a part of human culture.
In some instances, people are systematically encouraged to
keep their intellectual focus and to use the ‘’human mentality’’. However, most
are seldom always on how to really accomplished this task. Regardless of this
definition, true warriors have always been encouraged to take and increased
both mental and physical power.
1. Warrior Mindset
The first step to
having a warrior mindset is to understand what it means to have a warrior
mindset. A warrior mindset is characterized by fearlessness, courage,
confidence, focus, determination, discipline, and respect. In order to develop
a warrior mindset, you need to learn how to take action without fear, and not
let the fear of failure stop you from taking risks. You need to be able to make
decisions based off of your own intuition rather than relying on others'
opinions. When you have a warrior mindset, you are fearless, confident,
courageous, focused, determined, disciplined, and respectful.
2. Get out of Your
Comfort Zone
When you get
comfortable doing something, that's when you become complacent. Complacency is
dangerous because it makes us lazy and less likely to try new things. If you
want to change your life, then you need to constantly challenge yourself. Start
doing things that scare you and that it outside of your comfort zone. Learn how
to push past your fears and take action.
3. Be Disciplined
Discipline is being
able to follow set rules and guidelines even if they're difficult. Discipline
is about consistency. Consistently following a plan will help you achieve
success. If you want to be successful at anything, you need to be disciplined.
Discipline is the foundation of any great leader.
4. Have Confidence
Confidence comes from
knowing who you are and believing in yourself. Having confidence helps you
overcome obstacles and challenges. In the end you will only have yourself so
learn how to love it. When you feel good about yourself and know who you are,
you'll find yourself surrounded by people who share that same sense of
self-confidence.
5. Take Risks
Risking is the only
way to truly live life. Taking risks gives you the opportunity to experience
new things and meet new people. If you never took any risks, you'd still be
sitting at home watching TV. Risking is necessary for growth and evolution.
6. Don't Let Fear
Stop You From Doing Things
Fear can paralyze
you. But if you let fear control you, you won't ever accomplish anything. Fear
stops you from taking action. Fear prevents you from making changes. Fear keeps
you stuck in mediocrity. So instead of letting fear hold you back, use it to
motivate you.
7. Have Integrity
Integrity is about
honesty and trustworthiness. When you have integrity, you treat others the way
you would like to be treated. Integrity is the basis of any relationship.
Without integrity, relationships fall apart.
We all need to accomplish something in our lifetimes. We all
have goals that we make, yet often leave. But what does it get to actually
accomplish anything ? How will you go about achieving the goal that you’ve
always wanted to achieve? Well, in this time, if you’ve made some goals and
you didn’t go through, there’s reason for this.
The fact that we put our hands in quiet resignation. Most of us just
need something and we need it today ; we need to get to work tirelessly for it.
